Icing Recipes
Ingredients
Butter Icing
- 125g Margerine
- 250g Icing Sugar
Glace Icing
- 250g Icing Sugar
- 3tsp Warm Water
- Flavouring or colouring as desired
Royal Icing
- 500g Icing Sugar
- 2 Egg Whites
- 2 drops of Lemon Juice
- 2 drops of Gycerine
Marzipan
- 125g Icing sugar
- 125g Caster Sugar
- 250g ground Almonds
- 1 egg beaten
Method
Butter Icing
- Add all ingredients together in a bowl
- Beat very well
Glace Icing
- Add all dry ingredients to bowl
- Add a little water at a time
- Mix well
Royal Icing
- Add all ingredients together in a bowl
- Mix very well
Marzipan
- Add all ingredients to a bowl
- Mix well until the paste forms a ball
- Remove from bowl
- Knead lightly and roll out on castor sugar sprinkled on a flat surface
