Banoffee Pie
Ingredients
- 1 Packet of sweet biscuits (Digestive or Gingernut)
- Margerine
- 2 Bananas
- Lemon juice
- 1 tin of caramel
- Cream
- Milk chocolate
Method
- Grease a pie dish in preparation
- Crush biscuits finely
- Melt some margerine
- Mix biscuits and margerine to form a stiff mixture
- Press the mixture into the pie dish to form a base
- Place base into fridge to set
- Slice the bananas
- Sprinke a little lemon juice over the bananas to stop them blackening
- Spread bananas on the base and cover with caramel
- Top with whipped cream (optional)
- Top with grated milk chocolate
