Banana Bread
Ingredients
- 4 oz (115g) margerine
- 8 oz (230g) sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup mashed, ripe bananas
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
Method
- Pre-heat oven to 180C
- Cream the margerine and sugar in a bowl
- Beat the eggs in another bowl before adding them to the creamed margerine mixture
- Mix in the mashed bananas and lemon juice
- Add the flour, baking powder and salt; mix well
- Transfer ingredients to a well greased loaf tin and bake for 1 hour.
